It has been created and adopted by ANDE-BRASIL as the terminology to designate all horse riding activities that employ equitation techniques and equestrian activities, and also to the therapies employing the assistance of horses, to benefit people with physical or mental disabilities and persons with special educational needs, through the appliance of scientific knowledge and techniques.
